Data protection information
(please note that this is only an English translation from the original and hence binding German text, provided for your convenience)

The German Factoring Association (contact details see above in the imprint) is represented in the social networks LinkedIn and Xing (hereinafter also referred to as "provider") and is therefore jointly responsible for the processing of personal data with the respective provider.

Data processing
When you visit our social media presence (hereinafter also "presence") with these providers, a large amount of data is processed, e.g. the visit to our presence can be assigned to your user account or, if there is no user account, data can be collected using cookies, which stored on the device or the IP address. This allows user profiles to be created, which can be used by the providers for statistical purposes or for individualized advertising purposes, among other things. The data collected about you in this context will be processed by the providers and possibly transferred to countries outside the European Union. You can find more detailed information on data processing and options for data protection settings from the providers themselves:

In addition, you can also make data protection settings (e.g. for cookies) in your browser. We point out that you use the provider pages and their functions on your own responsibility, this also applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). How the providers process the data from visiting the pages for their own purposes, to what extent activities on the provider pages are assigned to individual users, how long this data is stored and whether data from a visit to the pages is passed on to third parties, is not known to us conclusively.
The German Factoring Association does not process the data from the social media presence outside of the social media presence.

Legal basis
Our social media presence at the respective provider is used for the association's public relations, e.g. B. by posting press releases. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit.f GDPR. The processing processes carried out by the social networks may be based on different legal bases that must be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

Assertion of rights
Since we process data together with the respective provider, you can assert the following rights with us or the provider: the right to information about whether and which data relating to you is being processed. If the respective legal requirements are met, you have the right to correct incorrect personal data concerning you as well as the right to deletion and restriction of processing. You also have the right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority of the provider or from us.
Furthermore, if the legal requirements are met, you can object to the processing of personal data relating to you at any time.
Please note that, despite the shared responsibility with the providers, we do not have full influence on the providers' data processing operations.
